Now that Joe Biden has officially announced that he will be running for re-election in 2024, it seems a Trump v Biden rematch is on the horizon. 

 

To Americans (and Non Americans) who are you voting for?

I wish there was another Democratic candidate to vote for because I don’t want another 4 years of Biden, but if he’s all we got I’m gonna do what I gotta do @ the polls.

Sorry, I realized this after quoting. 

 

I did a very rudimentary fix in the options to bypass this.  I apologize once again. 

 

And yes, there are a lot of other parties but lbr the US is a duopoly so...

I’m not American, but if I were I think I would vote for any other candidate apart from the two big parties. I don’t really vote for big parties even in my country. I normally try to find a person that I identify the most with and has the same principles as me and vote for them.

I'm American and I don't proselytize for any candidate since my horrible experience on several campaigns and canvassing in Upstate New York.

 

I am voting for Biden in the general. I'd be voting for the progressive in the primary if there was a viable primary or viable candidate.

 

Lesser of two evils argument I've already engaged with with longtime members here for years - I won't continue, we go in circles now.

I like most sane people will vote for Biden. Unfortunately, in America mental illness is rampant so I'm sure many will vote for the Republican even if its literally a convicted felon. :skull:

I'm not American but I'd likely vote for Biden if I were. The American economy right now is doing very well in the context of global conditions and many groundbreaking pieces of legislation have been passed during his presidency. Also, this massive craze about him being senile and all that, I don't see it at all. He's old (annoyingly old for the presidency) but I've heard him speak, complete negotiations, make decisions and outline policy quite clearly. He's not mentally incapacitated like some seem to NEED him to be (note that he's never been a good speaker).

 

Things have been far from perfect though, even disappointing in some cases. He's gone back on policy positions and failed to implement others. But thinking back on American presidents of the past, the trend with Biden for me has been above average in terms of follow through on promises and progressive legislation, even with the notable disappointments.

Not American but obviously would vote Democrat seeing as I'm not a bible thumping fascist, no other party has a chance of winning and I always vote.

I'll vote for Biden in the general, but I seriously doubt I'll vote for him in the primary.

If the election was Biden vs Trump/DeSantis, I’d unequivocally vote for Biden. Biden is not great but the other are the literal incarnation of the devil
