Thanks. This is a good consolidated thread.

That said, Janet's #1 radio song being Miss u much is a shocker to me.

Always be my baby not being top 10 for Mariah was another shocker

Thank you for this thread. It's an interesting read. Some of these results were surprising.

I knew Miss You Much was Janet's biggest hit, but I didn't expect Escapade to come in second. Neither did I expect Control to be bigger than all the debut singles outside of When I Think Of You.

Like A Prayer being #6 for Madonna was a shocker too, as well as Crazy For You being #3.

Do these sheets exist for ABBA, Carrie Underwood, Diana Ross, Paula Abdul and Maroon 5 as well? I'd be interested in seeing those.

Not really. It would have to camp out in the top 10 for another couple of months and make it past 52 weeks in the top 25 at this point

Somehow that doesn’t feel right to me. It’s a big hit yes. But bigger than blank space? Maybe because this is for the US I can’t grasp how big the songs were there.

Anti-Hero just had less competition on the charts and spent more time in the top 10. Blank Space is actually helped by the changed chart multiplier, as each of its weeks was counted for .85 of their face value, while Anti-Hero's weeks have each been counted at .75 of their face value. Once a song falls out of the top 10, and certainly after a song falls out of the top 20, the number of points it gets each week become less and less impactful, and Anti-Hero already has the same number of weeks in the top 10 that Blank Space has in the top 20.

Blank Space: 18-13-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-2-2-3-4-4-5-7-7-8-10-12-11-13-17-19-23-24-25-26-29-32-35-37-42-42-45-50 = 757.5k points

Anti-Hero: 1-1-1-1-1-1-6-7-9-8-1-1-3-3-4-7-8-8-9-12-7-7-9-8-9... = 739.5k points
