can we retire this tired cursive singing style? i heard that awful song he wrote about his sister on tiktok and cringed.

I will say that this singing style is more prominent on this album than any of his previous material. It is my least fave thing about so many Gen Z artists. The man can ******* sing though, and he has written some killer hooks.

i listened to some of his songs and i agree! i just wish he sang differently, his voice has hella potential

I think they're referring to the style he sings with on slower songs like "Becky's Brother" or "Past Tense." Tbf though, he did sing exclusively in French for a little while growing up so maybe that influenced his style.
