Republic is a great label, but Warner was a great label to her too. I'm not sure if Republic will give her the push she wants but I guess we'll see.

Especially if she signed a 360 deal with Republic she's f-ed because she won't make a lot of money out of her music and I wonder if her publicity deals will come through to make up for it.

I think she knew what she was doing when she pushed to end her contract with Warner. It’s not like she had no other choice, supposedly there was a bidding war. I think she got a better deal than what she previously had, we just have to see the treatment they will give her

Republic is not a good label at all

Kim Petras had an entire album ready to go in 2020 before she signed to them and they made her scrap it. It ended up leaking online because the wait was so bad. Not only that, but the only singles she put out received little-to-no push from them (only one music video, nothing sent to radio, etc.). Julia Michaels even complained that Republic deemed her album "obsolete" since nothing sounded like TikTok ready hits. 

 

The "push" you're mentioning only happens if the song does well without their help.

Calm down. They both had pushes, but it’s funny you disregarded what I said in the following part of my very long rundown. Lastly, those acts you mentioned are/were newer to the label at the time of releasing their own music, so they still needed to play the game just like the bigger acts I mentioned did when they started out with their own careers, but I digress.
