Apparently 2.4-2.6 is all in Xianzhou.
2.7 is in Jarilo-VI  with new Sampo form (I guess he got his mask back with the help of Sparkle).

As a day one player, I'm still traumatized by how unevenly they chopped the story, and it wasn't even that engaging in the end, so I'm still soured on the region. Yukong's story was the best thing to come out of it. Maybe another ship with an improved cast could work. I also remember seeing something about Tingyun's alt form? She's about to have this moment:
