SZA f/ Doja Cat - "Kill Bill (Remix)"

well the flow feels very reminiscent of her early rap days and the fact she's actually story telling and not just saying random **** gives me hope for the album. I definitely caught a slight hint of "4 Morant" in her delivery. Not everyone is going to get it, especially the people that weren't into her in the first place. :cm:

But the mixing is atrocious and that needs to be dragged (and corrected) because the transition between Doja verse and SZA chorus is... rough lol.

I also think that Kill Bill was not the best pick for Doja at all. SZA should have taken someone random with a fanbase to secure quick #1 and get Doja on a different song that has potential to be another hit from SOS and properly work on delivering something good

This remix is a NO for me, Doja's verse doesn't fit the song at all IMO.

MTE. imagine fumbling the possibility of a LOW Remix for this... :toofunny2:

really disappointing decision on TDE's end

It’s very bad and not matching but we all know why it’s been out so… congratulations on your number 1. The song (original) deserves that.

ATRL not destroying SZA by releasing a Remix to #1 is shooking usually if it was other Artist it will be already dead Lol

The Remix is Lazy, yes Doja sounds great… but at the same time this feels like months late.

A #1 is not necessary at this point the song is big but let’s see if she can snatch top spot!

this song is so corny... the lyrics on the chorus are so childish :rip: doja should’ve stayed away

Doja sounds amazing and had a really nice flow, but the placement of the verse and the way it transitioned sounded very awkward.

So this was the only way to go #1? Cheap..it was an iconic #2 peaking song, now this remix made it ridiculous

Doja is Giving Eminem

It reminded me of Eminem too :toofunny3:

Y'all thought she was playing when she said she's dropping a full rap album

OMG YESSS so the rumor about the remix was true  :jonny6:

Let me check.

Am I the only one that liked it?

I think their voices really blend well.

And Doja did a great verse.

Is this a desperate attempt at #1? Could be.

Was this deserving of being #1 already? For sure.

So... not mad at all.

Sza deserves that #1 this time, and anyone bitter about this... please step aside

Lol I hate that SZA did this, this sucks and it cheapens the song and the chart performance. Hope she can finally get the #1 and be happy though

It’s not good. I hate that she cheapened the song to hit #1. She’s heading for a #1 on the YEC and it would be more iconic if it had peaked at #2 on the Hot 100. Doja sounds like Drake here and not in a good way

Kill Bill was the most consumed song for multiple weeks already and it was robbed for Anti-hero because it didn't have enough airplay at that time. So it deserves to be a #1 hit already. It would be really unfair if something like that Jimin song is #1 but Kill Bill had to peak at #2 like Levitating.

Well this is a mixed bag…

I like Doja’s storytelling in this remix but her voice sounds hoarse as hell. Anyway, hope this pushes Kill Bill finally to #1. SZA deserves it.

I got so excited seeing the fact there was a remix with Doja but this is.. really disappointing. :(

No. I love it. A remix with Doja singing would have been overdone and predictable.

This is… not good. I guess she didn’t lie in her tweet when she said she did something bad. :rip:

They just got sent the verse and slapped it in the front and said “thats enough for me” lol

I like Doja’s verse but it is underwhelming overall. The artwork is cheap looking too

ATRL hates it so maybe the GeePee will love it :ihype:

i love both so much and this is like borderline bad… doja sis if this is any indication of the new era… possibly her worst verse for some time :deadbanana2:

She should've kept #2 and stayed iconic.

The desperation to throw out this lackluster version.

This!

Happy SZA’s team finally waked up after suffering weeks.

I was expecting something bad based on the comments but it's actually decent  :michael: Not great but it's ok.
