Can we have just one week without a mass shooting? RIP to the victims and condolences to their families. But this bulls**t needs to end.

Can we ban these threads already?

It will never end with these politicians

Sucks but that's become a daily thing.

At this point I just nod my accept and go, "Okay. Just another day in America" and it is sick to have that mentality.

How about banning the bullsh*t causing these mass-shootings, instead? How about that?

I don't follow the news because they are always depressing but life is so great and easy teas

Very odd.  The bank doesn't open until 9am and this happened around 8:30am.  Possible disgruntled employee?

Why? Doesn’t change the fact that it’s happening

How about you take it to the streets?

Sorry I don’t have a better suggestion but even my shitty country doesn’t have politicians who are willing to kill their citizens for profit like this. US citizens are literally being ****** sideways on all fronts and all you guys can do is talk about it online. It’s boring.

And posting about it on ATRL is going to do it?

Wow... The Kentucky Governor teared up during the press conference and said he lost 2 really good friends in this shooting and has another in critical condition. :shakeno:

Jesus. Things like this make me so weary about ever being in any sort of workplace conflicts. Not that I've suspected anything like this of anyone I work with but I'm terrified of vengeful ex-employees.

No, this is a reality and pretending its not happening is not healthy. I don't understand HOW gun control laws aren't changing. Yes I get that the old dead white men known as the founding fathers said "the right to bear arms" but that was 300 years ago and the world has CHANGED. Imagine living our lives according to a piece of paper written by old white men from centuries ago ... I-

We’re just as frustrated as you, if not more. You have no idea. Protests are happening. But it’s an uphill battle. This change, unfortunately, won’t come easy. It takes the visibility of these atrocities to sensationalize enough people to make a difference in our future. So, I’m sorry if this type of news is upsetting for you to see so frequently. It’s tragic and I wish things were different. But until they are, these stories need to be shared.

We have. Many times. Nothing changed. :juanny:

People are allowed to express outrage and their feelings online. Pretending you’re more just and enlightened for suggesting to go on the streets is cringe and unhelpful.

Billions of people live according to religious texts that are thousands of years old sadly :rip: If that’s any indication of how long people hold on to outdated scripts, we’ve got a big storm coming if we’re only 300 years into this piece of paper.

i couldnt imagine living in a country where they sell firearms in places like walmart and then be shocked when this is the norm

Well then keep watching this happen again and again.
