Okay, lets not get carried away, she's been in what, two moves?

Yeah, but shes also a massive pop star, and a massive pop star is more known and more followed than a massive Hollywood actress. If any other massive pop girl had acting talent and knew how to choose the best roles they would also be bigger than most cinema stars.

Further proof that certain people in here don't even know what is considered an adult drama feature in movie culture, not to mention the absurdity of those mentions that nobody with a clue of box office results and basic knowledge of movie genres and releases would ever do, embarrassing.

OGHs trying to name adult dramas is serving:

I mean I agree with you to an extent, but they don't translate from one to the other often.  She is a talented actress, but she has a long way to go to be an elite Hollywood actress.

That user literally said “HOG is the highest-grossing film since 2019,” hence why he corrected himself in a reply to me after I posted that list. Basic reading comprehension.

A simple Google search would have actually saved the embarrassment of certain posts in here including the pointless and dumb dig through Rated R movies of different genres, confirming that HOG box office result for its genre is not a made up a record, but it was stated by one of the most important media outlet like Deadline.

With other media outlets following and reporting the Deadline news as well.

OGH:
-is not the #1 adult drama film  (not knowing what R - Rated means or even PG13 - P13)
- ok but still bad overall (not true)
- well ShE nEeDs A sOlO mOvIE (serving no solo hits since 2011)

At the end of the day House of Gucci remains the biggest opening for adult drama since 2119

I understand what they wrote, but the intended meaning is still pretty clear in the context of this thread and their prior comments. Sorry they misspoke.

The solo starring thing is more of a benchmark for MAG status. All the legendary A-list actors carry a movie on their own star power and talent as a sign of their status and as a flex. Once Gaga has that then she will be a Hollywood legend, but it's still too early.

at this point OGHs will add Mario or Puss in boots to the list :rip:

Also, not the solo movie :rip:

OGH embarrassing themselves, once again, not knowing movie genres, not knowing basic math, not knowing how the industry works, SOLO MOVIES? :ahh:

It's giving "Official make up charts" at this point  :ahh:

So now Gaga has to play every single character (including extras) in a movie, and it has to be a critical and commercial smash for her to be considered a legend?

Sure.

Don't even know what users like you are doing in the Oscars thread when you can't even tell the genre difference between a movie like 'Creed' and 'House of Gucci'.

they're both dramas.

one is sports drama, the other one biopic drama.

so we could just look at biopic dramas, but another gaga fan was staying "but not music biopics, those are different."

so dramas + biopics + not music is the focus ig.
