Roberto Posted April 8, 2023 Posted April 8, 2023 Minions, Doctor Strange, Avatar, Top Gun, Water Under The Bridge to complete the top 5, I guess. 28 minutes ago, Broken said: Biggest Box Office Bombs" list will probably be revealed too. Are the Margot Robbie stans ready?

Edit: Not you adding an Adele single and no one noticing Also this just confirms to studios that more sequels is safer than originals ( which is sad but thank god Smile is on this list).
Gossip_Boy Posted April 8, 2023 Posted April 8, 2023 Fantastic for Smile. And to think it was supposed to be a streaming-only release on Paramount+ originally.

Katy V.! Posted April 8, 2023 Posted April 8, 2023 Wakanda Forever (+ MOM) doing better than billion-grosser Jurassic World Puss and Smile did great tbh.

Zaram Posted April 8, 2023 Posted April 8, 2023 I didn't even know that the Batman movie already released

Edit: Not you adding an Adele single and no one noticing Sorry, I got confused, I think is Water Gate Bridge. It's a Chinese movie that made 626M, becoming the ninth most successful one from 2022. It definitely is gonna be in the top 5.

And do you mean Battle of Lake Chungin 2? Cuz that's the one in the WW list ( unless Water Gate Bridge is the Chinese title).

Essential Posted April 8, 2023 Posted April 8, 2023 This year's list is flawed af and Deadline knows it. They're counting as profit the money those studios are paying themselves to put the movies in their own streaming services (D+ for Disney, Peacock for Uni, HBO Max for WB and P+ for Paramount), which is actually ridiculous. I would count as "profit" those deals with other streaming services, like Jurassic World with Prime Video, Puss In Boots with Netflix and Avatar with HBO Max, but Disney giving 100 million to themselves with Multiverse of Madness and Wakanda Forever makes no sense whatsoever, especially knowing that D+ is a money loser.

Hephaestus Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 Scarlet Witch in the Multiverse of Madness did that
Cheers Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 La Llorona was the biggest disappointment of 2022 and doesn't deserve to be top 10 let alone top 4
Scarlett Witch Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 (edited) Mah girl DID that ! Edited April 11, 2023 by Scarlett Witch
