Deeming MILLIONS of people unattractive because of their race IS racist. It baffles me how some of you don’t see it 

 

For those who say it’s not racist, explain WHY you’re not attracted to an entire race?

Hmm this is a complex topic. In society people are treated better and even have career opportunities based on being seen as attractive

 

So if somebody isn't a race that someone/people find attractive, this would lead to less opportunities in life.

It's not racism, it's colorism

Most racism against looks is featurism not colorism

 

Eg: If Zendaya had afro hair she would not be anywhere near as success as she is. A huge example of this is that the only time she publicly experienced racism is when she dreaded her hair for a red carpet. 

 

Lisa from Blackpink has the biggest eyes from the group and she is by far the most popular Blackpink member too

 

People often don't talk about it, but featurism is way bigger than skin colour prejudice

 

Somebody like Jasmine Tookes would be accepted far more than Solange Knowles (who has lighter skin) because Jasmine has naturally straight hair and has a thinner nose.

You can think someone of a different race is beautiful and still not be attracted to them. You can’t control that.

If you say you will not date a certain race, you are racist, and delusional if you think you arent. However, at the end of the day does it matter? If you want to be racist against x people go be racist, abd leave those people alone. People need to learn to leave those racist people alone and stop thirsting after them. They will be ugly in 10/20 years from hatred and bitterness anyways while we will still be glowing with beauty.

OT: Not, inherently but very often people who do have those preferences have internalized racism. It all depends on context. I think it is ignorant though.

Also, gays tend to befriend those they'd have sex with. So, you'll create a racists mindset when it comes to friendships and the way you see people. People respect "attractive" individuals more than "unattractive."

i think it is rooted in racism but that’s just the world we live in. The years of virtue signaling haven’t changed that.
 

People who say things like “I don’t like x race” just have a lack of exposure to others I guess… 

The vast majority of black  women I have seen do not consider it racist at all. This is mostly a issue in gay spaces.

There's nothing wrong with having preferences for certain races. But when these preferences are to the extent that you will just flat out not consider dating someone solely because of their race then yeah that's when it starts to reek of racism. There's a difference between 'I'm usually not into [insert race]' vs 'I don't date [insert race] because they're [insert race]'.

I don't think there's a single race that doesn't have someone I go over.

It's obviously racist if you simply rule out an entire race no ifs ands or buts, but it isn't racist if you're just generally not attracted to a race because of their inherent traits.

Straight up saying that you wouldn’t even consider dating another race IS racist. Excluding a race from the dating pool is racist. I will say that having a shared life experience does help when dating someone but to straight up say you would never even consider dating someone of a certain race… nah.
