I still remember when this song didn't debut at #1 after Heartless debuting at #1 and falling fast ATRL was wondering if this was it for The Weeknd.

Then it became the biggest single ever at the Hot 100

Probably one of the most annoying and overplayed songs on the history of popular music. Incredibly basic as well, so I'm still perplexed as to how this came to dominate the way it did outside of how easily digestible it is

further proof that atrl is always wrong and really quick  to call something a flop if it doesn't debut at the top

It will be a LONG time until another song surpasses Blinding Lights. Such a great song and it will stand the test of time I feel like.
