Ellie now has a total of 44.5m certified units in the US, surpassing Jhene Aiko & Miranda Lambert.

 

The gap between the 23rd (Kesha at 49m) highest certified female and 30th is literally only 4.5m certified units 

 

Fun facts:

* Ellie remains as the 2nd highest certified European female artist in US history, only after Adele (#1). The gap between Dua (#3) & Ellie (#2) is around 15m units.

* "Love Me Like You Do" 8x Platinum is now the highest certified female song of 2015

* When "Halcyon" was certified 2xPlatinum, Ellie joined Adele, Ella Mai, Lorde, Nicki Minaj & Rihanna as the ONLY female artists to achieve this feat after 2011.
