So this is top 15 Spotify Mexico and Arranca is top 30 Spotify Spain

Does any of the 2 songs can breakout in US ?

Cause she just needs 1 song to gain traction in US and then Latin America will follow ?

I prefer Arranca too ... But atm if either song can be a hit, this one stands more chances IMO

in general latin america is slowly but surely moving on from reggaeton. happy because i need her to give that sound a break and explore other sonic palettes

still waiting on her to collaborate with sebastian yatra, rauw alejandro, nicky jam, jbalvin (properly), enrique iglesias, ricky martin, tainy, bzarrap, maria becerra, rosalia, mariah angeliq, camila cabello, kali uchis, jlo, shakira, lali, sharlene, paloma mami, danna paola, luisa sonza, pabllo vittar, lola indigo, iza, aitana, emilia like becky deserves to be so much bigger than what she is right now

but the good thing with this song taking off hopefully arranca is right behind it. the faster that she secures a hit the sooner we can get an album

Omfg Dx good on Becky! I need her everywhere. People on her songs. Her on other people's songs. I'm gonna also need her to start crossing over. Do some Spanglish songs. Or be a feature on a US artist song asap.

Becky G announced that she is working on her first album of all regional Mexican music. Following the passing of her grandpa on her father’s side, she considered that moment a “huge catalyst” to pursue the project. She is working with Mexican producer Edgar Barrera, who is behind Grupo Frontera and Fuerza Regida’s smash hit “Bebé Dame.”

Though it’s mostly an album about heartache, there will be music inspired by her engagement to her fiancé Sebastian Lletget as well.

“It’s so funny because a lot of the songs that I’ve written and recorded for the regional album, they’re actually a lot of songs about heartbreak, so Sebas is like, ‘Babe, these are great and all, but you think we could maybe put a song—,‘ and I’m like, ‘Don’t worry, I’m working on it,’” she says with a laugh

oh hmmm so this is going to be heavily mexican centric in terms of sound. this should be interesting to say the least. this will definitely cement support and accolades from mexicans/mexico with her platform to put this out there. sorry to hear about her grandfather's death but damn wonder with sebastian's cheating fiasco is things changed or is she now gonna lean even heavier into the heartbreak aspect. considering this is going to be a love letter to her mexican culture i can see her only wanting most likely mexican features on her album so it narrows down her choices to the likes danna paola, belinda, paulina rubio, christian nodal not bad company if you ask me

She said her new “project” coming out this year, es un album regional mexicano back in January. She seemed confident talking about it like if the album was done or she had a vision/plan for it

her Coachella guest stars seemed very Mexican/regional Mexicano plus Nattinhe bestie

I don’t think there would be collabs with “pop” artists

probably more collabs like Fuerza Rigita/Marca MP

let's see if she sticks with it. i can't imagine her leaving it as it is if she kept love songs that may have been about sebastian. the artists that i mentioned aren't stuck to just doing reggaeton but mexican artist that are both seasoned and versatile. they could still work. the more i think about christian nodal and danna paola are the most obvious or plausible to come.
