Anyway Daddy Daniel has been aging very well which is what happens when you are unproblematic and love the LGBTQIA+ from the beginning  a youthful king!

Contrapoints was interviewed for this and has since encouraged her followers not to listen to it…

Isn’t it moderated by an ex-westero-Baptist church member?

Yes!

I didn't know Contrapoints regrets doing the interview. I read her tweets about it now.

This is like the best way to respond tbh. He's actively doing something good and ignoring everything JK says. And anyone who attacks him for this just ends up looking like a fool :clap3:

She’s too much of a coward to, which is why she will only do carefully selected cushioned interviews that centres herself like that podcast.

Bigots never like to be faced with having to talk on a level with the subject of their ire because then they will be forced to humanise them and their stance normally crumbles pretty quickly. Or they reveal just how radicalised and entrenched they are, which is an ugly face to put out to the world that still largely sees you as a beloved icon of modern British culture.

This this this. The main trio as human beings continue to exemplify their status as idols and role models of a generation of fantasy readers and film goers. HP itself is probably too far gone but at least not everything tied to the franchise is ruined.

Exactly. I think it’s funny how some people would throw themselves in front of a grenade for Rowling “because the books were their childhood” when the vast majority of the nostalgia is conflated with the David Heyman produced movies and it’s impossible to separate them — that castle set, John Williams’ score, the cast, the BAFTA winning army of creatives that created the “magic” people are still spun on today.

Like the reason the play, the theme parks, the studio tour and the new game are such hits isn’t because of Rowling’s words — it’s because of the visual storytelling of the movies that has lived on past the story itself. Without them the franchise wouldn’t have become as big as it has.

Which is why it’s so funny that Rowling is desperate to make it seem that support for Harry Potter is support of herself and her views and she feels the need to keep dictating notes to sell new ideas to audiences who just want to walk down a life sized Diagon Alley waving an overpriced wooden wand in the air. Death of the author really had her scrambling.

I've come to respect him so much as an actor and as a person. Also worth noting that he's never even said anything about Joanne but her supporters still fume just because he and most of his castmates didn't support her crusade against trans people.

The way Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson have evolved beyond the Harry Potter franchise with grace and empathy and maturing as artists and human beings while Rowling is clawing on for dear life, bitter as hell scraping in the Twitter trenches trying to hide tweets exposing neo-Nazis attending TERF rallies — all despite her fortune — while she tries to rewrite the children’s books that should have been left alone to nostalgia to try and justify her very charmless current persona and output with The Casual Vacancy onwards.

The Death Eaters were warning against organisations like the trans lobby! 90% of my Harry Potter fans agree with me — I’m being silenced! There are wizarding schools in other countries —  let me bastardise other culture’s histories and legends just to flesh out my narrow focused children stories! No no no my books can’t be criticised for being tone deaf — there’s a Jewish student called Goldstein, Dumbledore’s gay!

Anyway I’m so proud of Daniel :clap3:

!!!

King!

Because she's been aggressively transphobic for years now, which you know as you're one of her loudest supporters on this forum. Meanwhile, Daniel has been an incredible ally throughout his career and is using his platform to support and uplift the trans community.

Ironic, considering her genuinely unhealthy obsession with trans people. I guess you'll just have to find another forum to go hard for her on. :coffee2:
