ConceptD Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 I’m currently rewatching Making a Murderer and more or less completely forgot about the Steven Avery case over the years. I’ve been looking online and his attorney is still fighting for an evidentiary hearing. imo he didn’t do it. The state owes him a very large amount of money if he ever gets out and have done everything in their power to prevent an hearing where actual evidence is brought forward by a capable lawyer. But what does atrl think?
Mikeymoonshine Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 I don't know but that doc was manipulative. It was clearly incredibly biased, left out a lot of evidence and framed certain details in a way that makes them seem like a bigger deal than they were. Like some DNA evidence being accidentally contaminated with the DNA of the person examining it isn't a huge deal. Here's some of the stuff left out. https://onmilwaukee.com/articles/evidenceagainstavery

RunUpDoneUp Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 I remember this show. Idk the case details at all so from the show, I believed he did it but that obviously the police handled things like they always do: poorly.
