It should either go directly into your account like normal or the check should be available for you to pick up just as you usually would, based on how you always were paid throughout your time there! What helps is the fact that, usually at bigger companies/corporations, your manager/boss is not the person responsible for paying you. At smaller, locally owned businesses this is obviously a little different, since the store owner and your direct boss would also be the one signing your checks.
