The Morgan controversy happened a few months later and that really pulled him ahead
Ger Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 Great numbers for Lana omg, she still has it, she's a legend c'mon now. Morgan really is the country music industry, watching those Luke's numbers makes his success way more impressive, damn, what a monster.

shookspeare Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 little reycists need to band together and buy 2 more copies each
suburbannature Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 Lana Not her biggest debut since Honeymoon potentially
slw84 Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 Good for her. Top 3 is solid. Swifties need to do what Taylor said and support. Get her to #2.
BrokenMachine Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 Not doing six digits in 2023, truly a repeak Honestly I'm better with a #3 rather than a #2. NFR! peaked at that number so it would just match. Bots can mass buy as much as they want Also, it feels more frustrating to be blocked from #1 rather than #2. NFR! being at #3 felt better than COCC being #2

How is Lana so high suddenly Four of her albums have opened above 100k, only the 2021 albums which were surrounded by the pandemic, controversies and lack of promotion didn't reach that mark, but she's been consistent most of the time. Her streaming numbers have never decreased, she has a loyal fanbase and the music is good, so that's why she remains so stable. Edited March 25, 2023 by BrokenMachine
Ice Cream Skies Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 (edited) No music videos, no TV performances, no TikTok length tracks, zero radio support, 1 semi-private IG account w/ only 3.5M followers. BNM. 80 on Metacritic. Taylor endorsed. 100K+ in 2023. In March of all months. Edited March 25, 2023 by Ice Cream Skies

Forever After All debuted at #2 in October 2020. They were fairly similar until Morgan’s controversy boosted his numbers. I don’t see what’s so hard to understand

Big Bad Wolf Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 So proud of Lana. She deserves this and more. She's so incredibly talented and hardworking.

Morgan was huge before the controversy too, I think that's what @Squall is trying to say.
