It looks like a Shutter original :rip: I guess those test screenings weren’t exaggerating.

I’m going to guess that

at least one of the girls will be related to Chris/Regan in some way?

Bold auteur DGG doing away with the trashy and unimaginative original sequels, instead creating a bold, daring and deserving follow up to the original which poses the challenging question, "What if there were TWO possessions?"

That would be interesting.

Just saw the trailer on Reddit. It seems to be getting universally dragged. :rip: I thought it was kinda effective as a trailer. I don’t trust the director though. His last two Halloween movies were absolute garbage.

The best exorcist movie i recently saw is The exorcist of Emily Rose. :dancehall:

Looks good but have NO trust after the fail that is the new Halloween trilogy.

Plus, these 2 Exorcist tv season were actually really good, so nothing new to add here (and a trilogy... better have a coherent story!)

Why almost every scene is in daylight? :rip:

it doesn’t look bad per se but painfully basic and predictable. considering how highly regarded the original is, not just in the horror genre but overall, it just seems stupid to attach the name to it.

Not even wasting my time nor a cent on this ****. Wtf was that trailer?

Looks terrible.

I stopped watching Exorcism films a long long time ago and I was hoping this film, somehow, would make me wanna watch it but as expected, it looks terrible.

I feel like every possession horror movie ripped off parts of The Exorcist, and this movie looks like it ripped off those movies :skull: Oh well.

i do love the final part of the trailer paying homage to the iconic theatrical trailer of the original and it gives way for some very chilling visuals. that’s the only nice thing i can say at this stage though. oh, and Ann Dowd.

I love Ellen Burstyn so ill probably see it especially with her reprise as Chris MacNeil

The Exorcist TV show was surprisingly brilliant, that midseason twist in season 1 had me in shock. I really hope this new trio of movies does the franchise justice.

Oddly enough this whole trailer gave off the vibe of an FX or Netflix show to me. :rip:

It looks like every other exorcism movie :rip: You'd think for something as iconic as The Exorcist they'd do something to make it stand out

Everything ok?:biblio:

The trailer was bad but I actually have hope that the movie will be somewhat good. Let's hope trailer 2 delivers otherwise it might be DOA.
