After seeing how Green’s Halloween trilogy turned out my expectations for this are lower than hell.

The Exorcist is one of those rare horror movies that I find legitimately terrifying and scary-- the hype is true; it is the scariest horror film. In my opinion, anyway.

To do a remake is already starting on the wrong foot. And David Gordon Green? His first Halloween was decent, but nowhere near as good as John Carpenter's Halloween. Which version do you think I'm gonna watch more? Halloween Kills had excellent kills and a brutal Michael, but it was so poorly done. And Halloween Ends... I liked it when it ended.

I'm curious about the trailer and the reviews, but I'm in agreement with a lot of you: I don't think this will be good.

It’s not a remake. It’s a direct sequel.

Spoiler:

Apparently there’s a scene where one girl is carving into her body the name “Regan” over and over and over again.

If it's not as fun as the original... It's obvious it's not gonna match it in anyway, but still.

The posters are... good. But kinda generic. Didn't know Blum is behind this one, so it could be a hit or big miss.

Fun? The first one was fun? :bibliahh:
Hopefully it’s good. I’m not expecting a masterpiece.
