Definetly interesting! This could be a sister album to MOL, especially Me continues the R&B/gospel influences (btw, is the GAYLE that wrote that abcd song a songwriter cause wait a minute?). Mine reminds me of Save You, a different song structure for her while having the soft-rock vibes of My December and AIEW, but with masterpiece lyrics and vocals. I can understand if people are underwhelmed there are no huge statement songs, but I also bet these songs are growers. I was underwhelmed when Love So Soft was released and we got a great album. I'm already digging the vibe here.

Both songs are okay. I was expecting a lot more. Mine had promise, but the change in tempo did not do it any justice. It tried the HTE lane but never really soared. Me is okay, I liked it but that's it, it's just cute.

 

She served vocals, but that won't get the attention of listeners to go and find her album. Hope she has better tracks in the album because I am really looking forward to her smashing again. I want her to have a hit in the streaming era, as she only has Christmas music (and Broken & Beautiful) as streaming hits and they are not really smashes but just decent hits.

I like "Me" more than "Mine" but all in all, both songs are average/forgettable. Vocals incredible.

When the teasers were first released, I preferred "Me" over "Mine". The moment I heard the full version, I resonate more with "Mine" - the transition really caught me off guard. "Me" on the other hand is a vocal highlight and I love the drum towards the end.  I like the fact that the instrumentation in both songs do not overshadow her vocal. If there's any indication from Mine/Me, I could see "Chemistry" being Kelly's cohesive album sonically. I hope it can be on par with MoL's average score on metacritic, if not topping it.

I feel like when I listen to mine, it's like listening to a new artist. Mine is so different for Kelly and I can't get over how good the production is.

Aside from the New Music Fridays I only see two editorial adds - Just Good Music (836k) and The Pop List (747k)  Warner/Topsify didn't even add it to anything  Very confusing unless there's going to be another focus track coming soon?

Yeah they didn’t even put her on Pop Rising like they usually do or any of the other smaller pop playlists. It’s wild and Apple didn’t even bother at all! You can’t tell me Ageism is not a thing. Sad

Not a single playlist cover either  Atlantic has been posting about this a good bit too, so surely this is a priority for them, but my god

I totally love them! I just find it weird that I liked "Me" the most, although I liked more "Mine" based on the snippets.
