single Kelly Clarkson - "mine” & “me”

Mine is amazing, a grower but really catchy. I've been wanting a song like that from Kelly for a decade.

 

Me is the more generic out of the two songs but the vocals, production and lyrics makes it interesting nevertheless

Both are dope.  I love the gospel, ballad-esque vibe of Me.  Love the lyrics also.  The bridge of Mine, whewww.  I wonder if this will be her comeback album.

Mine is the better of the two and so different

 

None of these come closer to the highlights on My December though

Mine is great! That Bridge/Ending! Very Sign of the Times and Happier Than Ever. Hopefully that means a hit.

 

I like Me better than I thought I would. The initial teaser clips made me roll my eyes a bit, cause we really didn’t need another empowerment ballad, but I was proven wrong (like Blessed, but its not as good as Blessed, but it’s better than IDTAY).

 

I did expect a bit more hard hitting or clever lyrics though. Both me and mine sound more personable but it does have some cheese and cliche’s that make it seem a bit generic.

Me sounds like a MOL reject. I like the verses. Chorus is 🫤 but if others like it, cheers to them! Anxious to hear the album as a whole

ohh that's sad if there'll be no official music video Hopefully it's not true they're focusing the budget more towards streaming cuz I don't believe she would happen in that metric anymore. They should be focusing on physicals variants of the album, pre-orders, radio and live shows. Her fans and the viewers of her show are old-school.

 

I mean.... she shot a stunning very-expensive music video for ''Love So Soft'' and it didn't help the song much, but at least it meant something to the fans...

If she does make a video/s for either/both song she needs to do something amazing. LSS was her only good video since 2010 and it was still kinda meh. I’m TIRED of the videos with a “message” and whatever she’s done the last decade+.

Still didn't listen to the songs, but I have in fact liked the Mine snippets better.

Mine sounds like it's straight up from the AIEW era which is my fave Kelly album. I'm obsessed.

 

Also is it just me or does she kinda sound like Bey on the intro of Me?

Kelly is doing the Pink route where every single song sounds pretty bland despite great vocal. I have no doubt these will translate much better in the live version, like she always does.

I listened once earlier in the background but just listened again while reading the lyrics & "mine" is definitely the stronger of the two. But both are great
