No, Aladdin was hands down the best Disney remake. It's incredible. I'm not fussed about not getting a sequel though tbh.

if we ignore the sketchy cgi, the cringe Jasmine song and the villain, it wasn't that bad

Aladdin is the best out of all the live-action remakes of the animated Disney classic (granded the bar is in hell but still) but a sequel still isn’t needed so whatever.

Literally the best thing about the remake?

Not to mention the only original thing which justifies the existence of the remake (along with her expanded character arc that made her more sympathetic and not just a spoiled brat that's out of touch with the poor GP like the original)

my issue wasn't with the song itself but with the performance :dies: way too dramatic

I never saw the original so I don't have nostalgia for it

:noparty: dang, I really enjoyed Aladdin

Bummer. I really liked the first one :chick3:

Noo. I actually LOVED the first one and Mena as Aladdin. He was fantastic. I was hoping for a sequel :(

The sequel was already announced, I wonder why Disney is cancelling it now. Because of Will Smith? :rip:

I doubt Will was the problem. They announced the sequel nearly 4 years ago and 0 update since then. My guess is they didn't have a script and quietly forgot about it over the years...

Just checked recently if there was any news regarding the seque

The first one was so good, will never forget the chills during AWNW! this really sucks…

Mena and Naomi deserve better :chick3:

This was one of the better live action remakes but it didn’t need a sequel.

Disney executives better hope Will doesn't slap them

I had no idea people liked the first :skull: I thought it was bad and would put it on the lower end of the current remakes we have out :rip:

don’t create any room for it to be tarnished. people dragged the first one but it was a great adaptation .. let’s just leave it where it is !
