Better than all releases before but she really needs to drop this cutesy, poppy trash. Its so corny and tired. The cringe talking parts, lyrics, choice of words / its so off putting

What happened to the Goodies, Promise, My Love, I Bet, Oh, Body Party, Backseat Love, Speechless, I Run It, Keep Dancing - CIARA !???

All of this new material sucks.
:jonny:

I hate to agree with you cause you have awful taste…..however….. this song in particular isn’t giving me that it just has a very mid production. I actually wasn’t on board with this being a single at all because when I first heard the single it felt so empty and very “let’s put this on a commercial” and get a quick coin.

BUTTTT…. Since she added Chris Brown and she reworked the song it does sound better than it was intended to and it’s a safe radio rhythmic single. It’s a great start and I rather have this than the cringy Da Flop Girls and Jump (off a bridge).

its better for her, no management or label did better for her than what she did for herself

I agree! I just wish she had the support of a label because going independent you have to fund all of your work and idk if Ciara is that invested anymore for the long run of it all but we will see. So far everything looks good.

No matter the song her videography keeps giving though. The 2 trucks idea is brilliant and the dance incredible.

Thank you for the love 🙌🏼❤️ One thing you can’t come for is Ciara’s music video discography. Literally paved the way for the girlies to get really street tough in their videos  and twerk ect Ciara was one of the first R&ab pop artists to go all out with the street dancing on music videos. She deserves respect and flowers for that.

This is nice tbh :jamming: Better Things, Da Girls and this song are honestly building to a quality album. I do think she's still missing that catchy hit to kick off the era but she still knows how to serve quality r&b and I will continue to wait for this album lol

I hated Da Girls with every ounce in my being. I hate when people spell out words in songs is so cringe

First of all, Ciara is no newcomer. Ciara is a veteran in the game. Y’all can try that **** with Chloe, whom ever but y’all not gonna try that with Ci.

She’s been friends with Chris since before a lot of y’all on here were probably born…nearly 20 years. Ciara was Chris Browns first celebrity crush (look it up). A lot of y’all don’t understand the purpose of this collaboration and tbh idaf if y’all do or not. So at the end of the day y’all don’t have to listen if you hate Chris that bad. Which I find so weird.

Isn't she signed to Republic Records & Uptown Records in a joint-venture with her imprint Beauty Marks right now?

She's no more indie than her labelmates The Weeknd, Drake, and Taylor Swift who all have their own imprints but work with Republic to distribute and promote on radio formats.
