wait, where did you get this info from?

I know Jazze Pha has done a couple of interviews but he hasn’t mentioned any of this as far as I have heard.

Please don’t tell me it was Theron 💀💀💀 cause he not reliable imo. He just be gaslighting so much.

The tea about the Jazze record and the continuation is tea from a producer but not Theron. And the tea about the collab with another girl that dances came from Ciara’s lips when she was promoting better thangs in an interview. The person that said the pregnancy derailed the album was absolutely correct. She got pregnant and wanted to release SOMETHING to hold over until the album.

And Theron honestly doesn’t gaslight at all. He mentions all the time how hard it is to make music for Ciara because he knows the happy music she makes isn’t what’s popular. He hated jump. And didn’t think it should’ve been released. Also Ciara changed the hook of how we roll to “that’s just how we roll” from something else and he said he hated that too At 1st.

Also type of party had a feature but they took the person off and put them on the album.

My beef with Theron is that he has given other artists more artistically developed songs (better lyrics, better production and better thangs no pun intended) and it seems like he gives Ci all the leftovers or songs that just seem super corny. Now I do feel Ciara herself does the same but that’s a conversation I just don’t want to get into because at the end of the day she’s entitled to doing whatever the heck she wants BUT when it comes to Theron specifically I feel like that partnership has reached its full potential in my opinion. I really feel that at best he should only have have 1 or 2 songs on the new album. I feel the same with Estar and also Jamaica when it comes to choreo.

You def aren’t lying with the ester and Jamaica comment. They both should’ve been gone

And no disrespect to Jamaica because she helped cultivate Ciara in her first decade as an artist. Second decade just hasn’t been impressive and I think artistically she’s run her course but I will always love Jamaica. She’s also a sweet soul. I want her to link up with Sean Bankhead. I feel like he can really push her out of that box she’s in with Jamaica. Also Chris Browns choreographer is dope too.

Idk if I can stomach another Ester Dean track like that ship has long sailed.

thing is Ciara loving that type of sound and her collaborators... so in the end if she keeps releasing songs like Jump that's on her

what she needs is keeping that sound but making it fresh , like Tate McRae's Greedy

No.  Ciara definitely needs to stay in this urban space and let it crossover if it crosses over. Even when Ciara does pop perfectly, it doesn’t do well. Top 40 is just not playing a Ciara record.

I agree but in my opinion Ciara hasn’t done pop right since Overdose from self titled (and we all know why that never took off). Also Epic Records. Combination of both. All of the other pop records on Beauty Mole and Jacko suck.

Thinkin Bout You is pop but I don’t think she marketed that well and the timing was awful. I just feel like the lyrics are also very child like. But let me chill not too much on TBY I still love ha lol

The issue has always been timing. She nor her label never really strike when it’s time to strike when it comes to her pop records. But at this point as you have mentioned I rather her stay in the urban music space. It’s her she thrives and it’s honestly where she seems to also be instantly welcomed more when it comes to radio.

Notable movement! I’m now convinced that this will be a Level Up or even Body Party sized hit!  if it wasn’t for Christmas music and all of Nicki new songs charting the song would of been charting in the 50s or 60s of the Hot 100 this last week! Can’t wait for January :duca:

Right! I’m so so happy for her. Do you think once it debuts we’ll get better playlisting or is that strictly a label thing? I was looking at On my mamas playlisting compared to How we rolls and it’s absolutely horrible.

I just want How We Roll to pass Level Up’s peak so we can brag about LONGEVITY

The gap between #12-#8 on rhythmic radio is small

We should be top 10 early next week. Just in time for the Christmas songs to start falling off….

She deserves it! The fact that she’s independent makes it all that special!

when it comes to Spotify I believe labels pay their way into play lists ect (though there’s no evidence but I believe so) so I’m not sure how Ciara will be contributed into the playlists but once the song does start charting it’s gonna generate more buzz and we should expect a ripple effect of some sort (crossing my fingers 🤞🏽) that’s why im curious to see what Ciara will do because I know that puss is still healing 😹 and idk if she could even do a late night performance or any promo lol

Girl it’s Christmas week calm down lol it’s expected because even urban stations play Christmas music and therefore some songs experience a bit of a decline.

Crazy that it felt like it was just yesterday Ciara didn’t have any children now she has 4 😭

Hoping for a joyful January for this.

When the Xmas songs drop, this should finally get it's Hot 100 debut and possibly become her highest charting track in a while.

Would love for this to be a sleeper hit that she can *finally* perform *with* Chris at some point.

Like, I'm down with them riding this out through he Spring.

Most def! I’m hoping because I know Ciara hasn’t really performed long after her  pregnancies in the past.
