I remember that Glen guy was on Endurance Season 2 back in the 2004 days.

Couldn't believe how far he's come since then.

Wait :deadbanana: I used to watch this back in the day.

I watched the original film for the first time and then this. Honestly this new one was better :rip: good performances from the leads. Glenn Powell was pretty hot in this nnn I never really found him that attractive till this.

I did the same a weekend or two ago and I was BORED :deadbanana2: I enjoyed this one a LOT though. Very solid script compared to the first one and the cast all did a pretty damn good job. I hope this has legs because it's actually a really good summer flick and deserves to be supported.

Ugh why did they cast Daisy Edgar Jones in this movie? Totally not believable to see a fragile english rose chasing tornadoes in Oklahoma.

She was very good in the movie :giraffe: she's the main lead so her being a better than average actress helped the movie

This was great! So much fun. Only disappointment was…

Spoiler

I wish Helen Hunt was Daisy's mother. But alas, still loved the actress who played her mom.

I agree lol I was expecting that :deadbanana: guess it didn't need the connection but I thought there would be one with the whole Dorothy thing in the beginnning

Especially when she emerged from the darkness into the kitchen lmao

The way the incessant promo campaign is actually making me want to see this :deadbanana2:

Between the excellent soundtrack and Glen carting around that damn dog, they got me!

Just saw it in 4DX and it was AMAZING, omfg.

Fun movie,  had more emotional bits than I expected. The Challengers-esque bit and the romantic ambiguity and edging were unique touches :rip:

This was soooo good, saw it in DBox and it felt like you were in the movie with them. My only beef is that Hunt wasn't in the movie.

Saw it last night. I was expecting it to be bad, but it's an entertaining popcorn film. Kinda made me nostalgic for those old disaster movies. The story was pretty bland, but the main girl was Hot😍And Glen kinda stole the show. The YouTubers and Chasers were kinda dumb, even the college kids at the start of the movie felt smarter than the cast. :rip: And everytime someone ran outside during a tornado I wanted to yell at the screen. Idiots. But overall it looks great and was entertaining. 7.5/10

I bump it up half a point cuz it actually showed us a variety of tornadoes 🌪️  most films like this would only have like 2 major sequences. But this served Twins, Fire tornadoes, F-5, ect. So it delivered on that front. Still ridiculous that a Ram truck can just drive head first into a tornado like it's nothing. Lmfao

I probably going to watch it again tomorrow, on a even bigger screen.

This movie is just so much fun.

Yes Daisy Edgar Jones :clap3:

Yes box-office hit :clap3:

The Normal People costars have diverged in their paths but are equally doing well. Paul Mescal is doing more Oscar-baity types of movies, while DEG has hit a 1-2 punch of Where the Crawdads Sing (sleeper hit and one of the more profitable movies of 2023) and Twisters.

Very entertaining movie

The only thing was missing was

Spoiler

A sex scene with the king Glenn . A threesome with the other boy would be nice as well

Honestly the original is one of my most favorite and played movies during my childhood so I'm glad this sequel was able to be decent.

are there lgbt moments in this one?

There should've been because Glen and Daisy had no chemistry at all.

I watched this the other day, very solid. I love it. Daisy's awesome, she's really a draw with her acting presence. Glen Powell has always been charming, and he did well with this role.

Aside from the strong plot, acting and script, the music deserves to be praised. Soundtrack of this one is outstanding.
