I’ve only had Buñuelos and their Arepas and I like them not the most flavorful but not every thing has to be a spice bomb.

Buñuelos are good when they are warm-hot/eating some minutes after baking. If theyre cold theyre not that good.
Bland white arepas can be real bad. Mixing them with the right thing can make them great. Venezuelans are experts with that  :gaycat4:
Arepas are a dish with indigenous-native american origins. Buñuelos come from Spain.

I never heard this before??? I LOVE colombian food, my cousins are colombian and i’ve been there. Bandeja paisa is one of the best things to ever exist… their empanadas are the best in Latin America and i’m puerto rican.

Puerto Rican food isn't exactly seen as great either when I'm around food snobs they always make fun of most latin American food because it's rice beans and plantains and nothing else. Mexico and Peru are the only latin American countries that really are seen as culinary hot spots.

Never heard the before tbh

I feel like most Latin American food is very similar

Most latin American food is not at all similar. Not even close. I'd say Carribean food is similar but for example Peruvian food has influences from Spanish, native, Japanese, African, Chinese, Italian and French influence. Their food is incredibly varied even more so than Mexican food. Both of those places flavor their food very well.

I don’t even like Italian cuisine that much but nothing can beat the Mediterranean cuisine. Nothing!!! That include south Europe/North Africa.

I thought it was nice but definitely lacking compared to Mexican and Brazillian food. My Colombian students would always say it was the best in the world though.
