You know that saying "all skinfolk aren't kinfolk"? 

 

After sifting through comment after comment making disparaging remarks about the intelligence of others, I couldn't imagine being a black patient of yours expecting to finally receive a black ally to properly advocate for their health care needs... when this is the inherent, education-based bias lurking a few melanated skin layers inside. Wow. Even worse if this is a PhD-member of higher academia talking, literally in a position to influence the next generation. I worry for any non-YT students you encounter. 

 

I'm always surprised when I hear a *select few* people of color exist who relish being the only one (the token) in certain spaces as a confidence booster ... and then I read conversations like this.

 

I'm rambling, but I truly hope you didn't spend all of that time in school to stunt on people.

This ain’t it. I don’t even like Beyoncé, but using this as some supposed proof that she’s “functionally illiterate beyond a second-grade level” is a racist micro aggression. She’s clearly not the writer that, say, Taylor or Mariah are, but someone with a second-grade understanding of literacy could not have written this, stop being gross.  She writes like the majority of people; it isn’t proper grammar (the misplaced commas, for example), but this is far from elementary level, and certainly not full on illiteracy.
