vale9001 Posted January 10 Posted January 10 (edited) So no Charles Melton at BAFTA and SAG. Could miss the Oscars too at this point. Edited January 10 by vale9001
vale9001 Posted January 10 Posted January 10 (edited) Penelope Cruz is incredible in Ferrari. One of the best of the year. She's getting the oscar nomination too. Edited January 10 by vale9001

vale9001 Posted January 10 Posted January 10 (edited) So Margot nominated. I think Barbie at the oscar could be strongest than how much someone thought after the globes. I think Oppenheimer is gonna win Picture and director and best actor. So i'm asking if now the screenplay winning for Barbie is hard in the new category the campaign could start to focus on pushing Gosling over RDJ to give a Major award to Barbie. harwee Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Big day for Barbie. Bad day for Killers of the Flower Moon. But not a lot of surprises though in terms of Oppenheimer winning the big prize.
hausofdave Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Domingo getting in over Leo is very SAG, they love Netflix so

She will forever have both Hollywood and international cinema’s support. coming to crash the SA race I remember something similar happened in 2022 with her missing some precursors and ending up snatching that Oscar nomination. She's coming for it this year too.
vale9001 Posted January 10 Posted January 10 I still don't get why Emily Blunt gets all these nominations for a very standard and boring 5 minutes role. 4 3
Konril Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Found it funny with Netflix streaming SAG that May December completely missed when they included Eddie Redmayne and Adam Sandler last year.

The good wife of course forgets his lover affairs cause he's just a genius!!. To make it even worst she is written in contrast with the promiscuos slutty lover (of course the slutty woman dies ) Opp is a very good movie but the two female characters are bad. sexyback007 Posted January 10 Posted January 10 (edited) Updated predictions for Oscar night: Best Picture: Killers of the Flower Moon Best Director: Christopher Nolan Best Actor: Cillian Murphy Best Actress: Emma Stone Best Supporting Actor: Ryan Gosling Best Supporting Actress: Da’Vine Joy Randolph Best Adapted Screenplay: Barbie Best Original Screenplay: Anatomy of a Fall This year has been somewhat of a return to form for the film industry and quality of contenders, so I can definitely see the Academy spreading the love for above the line wins, with only “Barbenheimer” earning two awards since they were basically the movies of the year.
