Bad Wolf Posted January 10 Posted January 10 The Color Purple is gonna be this year's Women Talking... barely landing Best Pic with only 1 or 2 nominations outside of that. I think Best Actress is secured: Lily, Emily, Margot, Carey & Sandra. The international Academy vote will pull in Sandra over Annette. Supporting Actress I think the 5th spot is still up for grabs, even though you could argue that Jodi Foster has it. I just am not 100% convinced of Nyad showing up on Oscar nom morning. Leo, Charles & Greta I think are all out after this. Charles Melton could be the surprise 5th slot in Supporting Actor over Willem/Mark, kind of like Brian Tyree Henry pulled in more recently. 2
kandicha Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Also Brian Cox, Matthew Macfadyen and Kieran Culkin all making it in Drama Actor but no Jeremy Strong?
Konril Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Looks like Oppenheimer will bag Ensemble and Best Picture then.
hausofdave Posted January 10 Posted January 10 at least any notion of Ferrara sneaking in is done 1 1
McNulty Posted January 10 Posted January 10 (edited) Bening and Sterling K Brown are still shaky because the SAG loves them in general but huge W for them. Ruffalo missing and Defoe getting in was actually shocking, so was Leo snub Edited January 10 by McNulty
