Pulling for Paul to win the Oscar over Cillian, I thought his performance in The Holdovers was much better.

Joaquin gave the best performance in that category, but I think he suffers from being great in every role, so he's easy to overlook :sorry:

100%. They need to release The Holdovers on streaming a few weeks before voting closes to the momentum swings on their side.

It's on Peacock already but would do much better on Netflix.

In a way I feel like that category only exists to differentiate GG from Oscars who would never award anything to Poor Things (except actresses to their fellow Stone but even then I have doubts).

It’s over for Barbie if it can’t even win Best Comedy. Whoever wins Best Drama will

win the Oscar Best Picture. Poor Things is too polarizing to be win-competitive.

Isn't the BAFTAs the definitive won that predicts the Oscar wins?

Voting system is different, with the ranking at Oscars, any title that sticks in the top 3 could easily take it. Won't be surprised with a KOFM or Barbie win.
