Not necessarily, now it fully relies on SAG, PGA, and WGA at this point.

So happy I've seen most of the noms. Want to see Femme so badly in March though :clap3:

I've thought this before but I think she'll be the Marina De Tavira from Roma for this year if the Academy wants to give Killers every nomination possible.

Yeah, I had I feeling, it would've benefited from word of mouth if it got released earlier, it's probably underseen.

Saltburn getting literally everything except Best Film  :ahh:

did BAFTA not get their May December screeners? Or did the Discourse on twitter actually have an effect for the first time ever :rip:

U r being disgusting about my ire with racism as usual

I said that she won with fargo with her husband and her first movie was with her husband which is factually true

And I can't believe u r somehow equating rape of a child with talking about Oscar projects just to get your kiis in

Honey you’re the one reading to much into a joke and now suddenly saying I’m equating rape with talking about Oscar projects. :deadvision: Are you ok? The last season certainly took a toll.

it'll be interesting if mary kay Letourneau ends up her film's only nom, and Vili Fualaau/Penelope Ann Miller are out.

- Saltburn did eat, but if it can't make BF on home turf it makes me feel it's gonna miss BP too. Prob in favor of MIDestro. The momentum is obviously still going strong for Saturn tho so who knows

- May December bombed, I don't think anybody's passionate for it??

- The Color Purple is bombing with both BO and noms everywhere, it's looking like Brooks is its only nom ATL, maybe even in general. She can even miss tbh, I feel like sup. actress line-up is gonna be messy seeing how open it is after Randolph. SAG will be telling.

- RIP Society of the Snow, it was nice to dream. Netflix when I catch you

Imo BP is looking like this at the moment:

Oppenheimer
Barbie
The Holdovers
Killers of the Flower Moon
Poor Things

-----
American Fiction
Past Lives
Anatomy of a Fall

-----
The Zone of Interest

Maestro

Possible spoilers: Saltburn > May December > The Color Purple > All Of Us Strangers?? (no idea what's going on with this one)
