Yeah. Some of the acting races might get interesting once the precursors start handing out wins, but that's it. 

 

Hoping TCP becomes a major late-breaker ala Hidden Figures if just to make things semi-interesting. :priceless:

Some surprise nominations there! Cruz makes her first (quasi) big precursor (as well as Vanessa Kirby in the blah Napoleon) and Elordi gets some notice for Saltburn. Damon for Oppenheimer :rip:

 

I'm guessing that Cate movie was an Australian only release because it's so under the radar otherwise.

Good! At least they’re standing for something.  Unlike Gotham doing a 180 from their MO and making their awards all about studio blockbusters just for clicks. It would be like NAACP awarding Barbie best picture.

I'm predicting "The Holdudovers" getting completely shut out @ the BAFTA's because they won't go for a corny TV movie.
