fridayteenage Posted December 10, 2023 Posted December 10, 2023 kinda eye-raising that they not only moved lily down to supporting, but ranked her 3rd there. wow at the female dominance. rachel mcadams still a longshot, but it'd be a fun nom that'd be pretty different for ampas.

And unlike Ryan, Randolph won’t be a solo nominee. Heavy frontrunner atm. Maybe Randolph's fellow recurring co-star on The Idol, Miss Jennie, can break through next!

Almodusa Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Golden Globe nominations reveal begins at 8am EST (just under 9 hours) 1
Mr. Duff Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Rooting for Rachel McAdams, Greta Lee, Emily Blunt, Emma Stone and Natalie Portman. Women did amazing this year. Also an amazing year for movies, so stacked!!! Bradley also hopefully continues momentum and gets that Oscar. Cillian would be my super close second but I really hope Bradley can pull through.
Konril Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Need another Andrea Riseborough once Oscar nomination comes.
ALittleGauche Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Is The Color Purple no longer in contention then? I don’t see it being nominated in these smaller critic groups.
Almodusa Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 (edited) This one works but they haven’t started yet. Maybe waiting for YouTube to start https://www.cbsnews.com/news/golden-globe-awards-nominations-2024-show/ Edited December 11, 2023 by Almodusa
hausofdave Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Holdovers and American Fiction missed Screenplay
fridayteenage Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 comedy/musical movie actress has the obvious 5 and then an acclaimed film so tiny that the lead's not even in the top 22 on gold derby.
Johnnyboi Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 The Color Purple missed Musical/Comedy. This is where I thought surely it would get nominated.
Antisocialites Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Golden Globe noms are so silly and pointless now that they upgraded it to 6 slots.
