To be fair the studio and the team behind this choice have their main fault in this, it's not just an actor decision and at the end she probably had more chances to win in lead anyway than in supporting since Da'Vine was one of the early lock from this season, it was a tricky decision, I'm sure she and Stone were close.

Most important thing is that she will have new interesting offerts and possibilities.

Hopefully Hollywood doesn't treat her like they did Halle and only give her meh films ( and action sequels)

I felt bad for her like she knows for sure people don't want her to win over Lily, her speech also indicated that

I was thinking about this the other day, her 2 Oscar wins were so well deserved, she's a very talented actress, in the luck of getting those two projects that lead her to get 2 Oscars she got the unluck that everything outside those two projects sucked and flopped.

Hope she's gonna have a comeback eventually.

i’m even more baffled by Zellwegger - she had a great 2nd wind/comeback narrative with Judy but she’s literally done nothing in the 5 years since then other than that panned miniseries. is it her choice to still lay low on work or is she just still not getting hired even after a 2nd oscar?

I think it's a combination of both things.

Zelly could be like Bergman and come back several years down the line for a supporting win

It’s crazy when you think that Hilary Swank has 2 Oscars yet her career is so :deadbanana4:

It's what her trashy ass deserves.

killers is actually even more similar to gangs of NY than I thought at first:

besides the whole 0/10 Scorsese film thing,

Leo was the main lead but was ignored.

The lead nominee in under 30% of the film won Sag, but lost to the probable BP runner-up.

Swank deserves her two Oscars. Don't come for her :suburban:

Kind of sad that her career is nonexistent after winning 2 Oscars.

Bridget Jones 4 is officially happening :gaycat1:

Although, you can tell that it only is because not many good projects r coming her way

Welp let's not forget that Hollywood is a sexist mess and that it doesn't matter how many awards an actress has got.

If they say she is over then that will be it

hmm as much as I like Zellweger, Judy was a complete fluke

I like to pretend the Judy Oscar is for Chicago instead :giraffe:

Carey deserves a win soon, as well as Michelle Williams. There’s a lot of great actors and actresses that are overdue, oh my.

Just watched the zone of interest and it was trash. Would've worked as a 20 minute short maybe

It was pretentiously bad
