My Top 3 so far are:

1- Poor Things

2- The Holdovers

3- Killers of the flower moon

Poor Things really has the potential to be this year’s EEAAO in the way that it’s so creative, imaginary, fresh with a good message and Emma Stone eating up every scene, it’s too bold and daring for the Academy but we shall see.

The Holdovers is just beautiful, nostalgic, smart, warm, funny, timeless; and KOTFM is good but nothing new, we have seen tons of western dramas and even Power of the dog looked prettier.

The Killer was such a letdown, I was waiting something more smart and cold like Prisoners or Zodiac and instead I got Diet Coke John wick with a mix of Patrick Bateman, Fincher needs to move on from the Netflix era.

i mean, i read the book when i was a kid and it was published 30+ years ago. the author's also had weirder books.

yet reviews say the movie cut out the edgiest bits to make it more accessible to the masses.

it's not really that out there.

Well the film is very bold it’s like a mix of Alice in Wonderland + Barbie XXX rated with a strong feminist/emancipation message if they cut the weirdest parts the movie still feels daring and bold.

Wondering if Warner is going to submit both "I'm Just Ken" and WWIMF or just stick to one... It would be a very easy second Oscar nomination for Billie

Warner already announced that they’re submitting three: I’m Just Ken, WWIMF, and Dance the Night.

But the rule is that only two songs from the same movie can end up being nominated so I guess it’s up to the music branch voters to pick which two. I assume WWIMF will make it, so I’m Just Ken and Dance the Night will have to fight for the other spot.

Uma Thurman? i dont know about the movie you mentioned but she really needs to win the Razzies for Red, White, Royal Blue, it must be the worst acting by an A-list actress in recent years. Like i cannot believe it was Uma and have to check the credit.
