Further cementing the Best Picture win,  1000% winning.

20 Days In Mariupol will be the default Documentary winner at the Oscars.

Oppenheimer keeps on winning :clap3:Truly the most beloved film in a long time worthy of all the awards it got. You know it's deserved when it keeps on winning and not a single backlash out there :clap3:

My reaction gif if Miyazaki won his second Oscar :suburban:

Hope Zone of Interest snatches the Sound category to cap Oppenheimer off at 7, tying Everything Everywhere.

Would have liked it even more if Giamatti collected the prize he richly deserves, thus keeping Oppenheimer below Everything Everywhere in the process. But if the tradeoff to Giamatti losing is Gladstone winning, I’ll take it in a heartbeat.

Yes, it’s been sweeping the Makeup categories and Bradley has won all the Actor precursors so far.

Spidey won PGA as expected. Cars (2006), Adventures of Tintin (2011), Wreck-It Ralph (2012), and The Lego Movie (2014) are the only four films to win at PGA but not the Oscar.

-Tintin and Lego Movie both weren't even nominated for the Oscar.

-Wreck-It Ralph lost both GG and BAFTA, only winning CC and PGA.

-Cars still managed the GG win and the CC win, only losing at BAFTA and the Oscar.

hopefully Asian excellence prevails on March 10

it'll be 20+ years in a row where the animated winner has at least one white director, methinks.

Gaga really needs to educate Bradley how to make a cringey, but enjoyable and thus ultimately endearing Oscars campaign

i think Lily's got the win. The Academy won't feel the need to give Ema Lì a second at 35 and Lily's SAG win came at a good time in the voting, plus SAG winners usually win.

Except when the race is super tight and close and the BAFTA winner of a more beloved film (like Meryl in The Iron Lady (ugh), Frances in Nomadland, and Olivia in The Favourite) wins the Oscar. Poor Things feels like it could at least win Production Design, Costume Design, Hair & Makeup (though not guaranteed all of them) while I don't see Killers winning anything else.

No one stands a chance against Frances in Best Actress me thinks.

She's too much respected and beloved amongst her peers.

While Glenn Close is a respected actress amongst her peers, she's unlikeable and heard many rumors that she acts like a diva off screen :suburban:
