Margot's performance in Barbie is fundamental to the movie. America Ferrrera getting a nom but not her is embarassing.

unlikely, but hopefully goat Miyazaki attends the Oscars well only if Asian excellence prevails

Margot was so good in Barbie. I never got the people saying Ryan outshined her, his performance was so corny and over the top. Margot was funny and campy but she also brought real emotion to the character. I blame straight people who think the kind of corny comedy Ken was serving in the movie is funny.

I mean her character was the lead... still her performance wasn't on the level of other BA nominees.

Not the academy being afraid of even the most focus tested pop

The way Ryan is being celebrated over Margot at every turn is the absolute worst kind of irony lol

Blame Greta for giving Ryan all the scene stealing moments. Margot was never happening playing a boring role like this.

Margot being shut out makes sense, the other Actress nominees had meatier and more nuanced roles. That said, Gosling's nomination is a fraudulent crime and America Ferrera shouldn't be anywhere near BSA when Julianne Moore and Rosamund Pike are right there.

May December deserved more across the board but Hollywood doesn't like taking a hard look in the mirror so I get it :fan:

But most importantly, we believe in #SandraSupremacy :khalyan:
