D/X Posted January 23 Posted January 23 My late in predictions for main categories... there's something off this year that's making it weird to predict, cause it seems a little bit easy for several categories, and big **** ups usually happen, so let's see. Spoiler Picture American Fiction Anatomy Of A Fall Barbie Killers Of The Flower Moon Maestro Oppenheimer Past Lives Poor Things The Holdovers The Zone Of Interest Director Greta Gerwig Jonathan Glazer Christopher Nolan Alexander Payne Martin Scorsese Actress Lily Gladstone Sandra Huller Carey Mulligan Margot Robbie Emma Stone Actor Bradley Cooper Colman Domingo Paul Giamatti Cillian Murphy Jeffrey Wright Supporting Actress Emily Blunt Sandra Huller Jodie Foster Rosamund Pike Da'Vine Joy Randolph Supporting Actor Willem Dafoe Robert De Niro Robert Downey Jr. Ryan Gosling Dominic Sessa Adapted American Fiction Barbie Killers Of The Flower Moon Oppenheimer Poor Things Original Anatomy Of A Fall Maestro May December Past Lives The Holdovers Animated Across The Spider-Verse Elemental Nimona The Boy And The Heron Wish International 20 Days In Mariupol Fallen Leaves Perfect Days Society Of The Snow The Zone Of Interest Not trying Documentary
Donquizote Posted January 23 Posted January 23 If Lily got snubbed That will be the major snub ever for Best Actress. When was the last time winner of Drama Actress at Globes got snubbed at Oscar? Kate was the last one, but she was nominated for The Reader instead.
Konril Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Enzo Vogrincic Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor Dominic Sessa Rosamund Pike Just because...
Komet Posted January 23 Posted January 23 When everybody thinks Nolan is safely in so they put somebody else at #1 and he ends up getting Affleck'd 3
Liafen Posted January 23 Posted January 23 I feel like Sessa and Rosamund could be the surprise noms. Former more probable, obviously, but I feel like Saltburn peaked at the right time for Rosamund to maybe pull through. Still not convinced on Anjuane. The praise and grassroots campaign did not center around her (with the movie itself and Ava also in discussion), whereas Andrea was the sole talking point of To Leslie. Also Andrea's campaign started way earlier. But would be a kii if it happened again.

DanyelP23 Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Imagine if they announce Best Director category and it's something like this Justine Triet - Anatomy of a Fall Christopher Nolan - Oppenheimer Celine Song - Past Lives Jonathan Glazer - The Zone of Interest AND Todd Haynes - May December Never happening but it would be a FUN category 2

EnigmaticAndroid Posted January 23 Posted January 23 I've been predicting a Leo snub since like September but just slotted him back into my 5. Domingo is clearly weaker and Scott's BAFTA miss means he absolutely wasn't Top 3, so idk if we can even count on the Euro's to passionately vote for him.

Konril Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Place your final bets for the GG+CC+SAG+BAFTA nom snub. Domingo and Robbie could.
