Based off name recognition alone, is Beyonce and Shakira on the same level globally?

Im from a latino country and Beyonce was not that big in my country.  

I dont have any memories of me as a kid walking the streets or malls and people playing her records. 
I only remember people playing Madonna-Britney-Xtina-Avril (She was everywhere) and of course Shakira obviously
To be fair Latinoamerica had her own powerful pop-rock music scene and R&B-Country were almost non-factors
Iconic singers in the States like Brandy-Monica-Aaliyah-Toni Braxton are unrecognized here. 
Beyonce music was Pop but it was categorized as R&B and that damaged her chances of gettin more love.
American Labels prioritized the promo of White artists here in LA. 

The "I Am Sasha Fierce" era is when i remember people outside playing Beyonce tracks and when my friends started mentioning her
Now i think she's very recognized and people respect her so so much. She even sold out an arena-stadium in my country

The first time i listened to Beyonce was with the family proud theme, then i remember crazy in love in some movies and then in 2007 i discovered the beautiful irrepleaceable once i got access to internet and Youtube. I Inmediately turned Stan. She was so classy and pretty.

I think Beyonce and Shakira have diferent territories
Beyonce is big in Northamerica-Europe and Africa?
Shakira is big in Latinoamerica-Europe-Middle East/India
Both of them are not that big in East Asia.....Taylor Swift-Avril as yll know own those regions.
In Oceania Shakira had a lot of success but someone threw a bag of cement to her and she never went back.
Beyonce is big in Oceania right? 

I think Shakira feels like a bigger name worldwide cause her hits were more massive than the Beyonce ones. Even if shakira is not a big album seller.
Whenever-Hips-Waka were too huge.
Shakira also had the backup of 3 worlds cups and that can get you so so far. To every corner of the planet
People in The States ignore how big is Soccer worldwide 
Shakira also comes from a very multicultural background. Middle Eastern-White-Latino....and was raised in a caribbean town with african influences.

Personally i find both of them incredible and larger-than-life. They have a special charisma. 
They were both born to be megastars. There's such a naturality in them. U can see the talent. 
I wish we had more singers today like them. Looks like an impossible feat today.  So many basic newcomers today 
Were blessed to have these two ladies today

Grossing more on tours means you have a bigger fanbase, not that youre more omnipresent within the GP. Whenever Shakira tours im sure this will be her biggest tour yet either way.

Shakira is much more global than JLo, especially in Latin America and Middle East/Asia. The fact she is part Lebanese made her extraordinarily famous in the Middle East, one of the most famous of the Western world.

Yes based on name alone, beyonce and shakira have equal holding throughout the world. Shakira is less famous in the USA more in non-USA countries, Beyonce is more in USA less in non-USA, but on average both are extraordinarily powerful names globally.
