Based off name recognition alone, is Beyonce and Shakira on the same level globally?

Given how massive Shakira has become recently, almost a return to form to her early 2000s dominance 2 decades later, I feel like this is proof her name is JUST as powerful as the ATRL greats.

 

I feel like she's just as famous as Beyonce across the world tbh. Maybe even more who knows? And remember the world =/= US and Latin America.

Even a name like Bella Hadid would be known by the majority of the world, even if she doesnt have a career as huge as Beyonce

Shakira success is overrated as per usual by ATRL.

Jumping on tracks with some of the biggest latin artists atm (Karol G and that guy) + backstory of the cheating scandal. Sure, shes on a roll when it comes to singles, tho she'll never see Beys success in terms of touring or album sales these days. Still very successful

if Google Trends data is anything to go by, they actually have very comparable search interests worldwide. Shakira was bigger from about 2005-2007 (Oral Fixation 1 & 2 era), Beyoncé took over from 2007-2010 (I Am… Sasha Fierce era), Shakira had the biggest peak in 2010-2011 (World Cup global visibility), then Beyoncé took over for the rest of the 2010s with the consistent releases of major projects and big performances (Self-Titled, Lemonade, Super Bowl 2x).
 

Shakira is on track to skyrocket again with the combination of her huge comeback moment right in music now, along with the widely publicized scandals with her personal life. overall i would say they are pretty much neck and neck, with Shakira having the bigger peaks, and Beyoncé being ahead for the longest stretch of time in the 2010s. Google Trends may not be the most absolute measurement of global recognition, but it’s definitely a relevant metric to go by in a topic like this.

Isn't that what Beyonce did? Jumping on tracks that were already hits (Perfect, Savage) + releasing a whole album around her husband's alleged cheating scandal?
