Australia: Harry's House #1 (10x), Morgan Wallen #2, Flowers #1 (x8)

Ruel’s first full-length album, 4th Wall, makes a top 5 debut in the ARIA Albums Chart this week at #3, while Miley Cyrus holds the top spot on the Singles Chart to become Australia’s longest-running Cyrus at #1. 

 

Ruel, the 20-year-old singer from Sydney, won the ARIA Award for Breakthrough Artist back in 2018 before reaching #3 on the Albums Chart with his 2019 EP, Free Time, which went three-time platinum in South Korea. 

 

Harry Styles celebrates 10 non-consecutive weeks at the top of the Albums Chart with Harry’s House coming off the back of his Australian tour, which wrapped last week. Fine Line slides one position to #6 and Harry Styles also holds at #12, while on the Singles Chart As It Was holds at #5, one of 14 singles Styles has in the top 100. 

 

One Day At A Time by Morgan Wallen debuts at #2, featuring 36 tracks and collaborations with fellow country superstars Eric Church, HARDY and ERNEST. His 2021 album Dangerous: The Double Album also reached #2 here and has spent more than two years on the chart, sitting at #31 this week.   

 

Korean boy band NCT 127 debut in the top 20 with Ay-Yo – The 4th Album Repackage at #13, while Aussie four-piece Teenage Dads debut at #28 with their EP Midnight Driving and homegrown singer-songwriter Jen Cloher arrives at #30 with I Am The River, The River Is Me.   

 

On the Singles Chart, Miley Cyrus’ Flowers makes it eight weeks at #1, surpassing her father Billy Ray Cyrus’ record of seven weeks with Achy Breaky Heart in 1992; while PinkPantheress’ Boy’s A Liar sits very close behind at #2.

this is shocking to me. country is local to the us and literally the only country artist to crossover to australia in my lifetime has been taylor. literally nobody here even knows who that morgan person is, i have never even heard a single one of his songs :jonny5:

His last album went Gold in Australia. He is not as local as you think.

Morgan and Luke combs are always charting higher in Australia charts so someone has to listen country. Australia and Canada are the only countries where country artists promote apart from US
