Is this the worst music video of all time?

This music video is the definition of a mess. Her anticipated pop comeback after a star is born was destroyed by this disaster. They tried too hard and not enough for the limited iPhone budget. The editing, lighting, choreography, her spastic solo dancing, tacky fonts, transitions between sets went nowhere. Like Perfect Illusion, it screams “we don’t know what to do so we will just gather lots of people together to jump around in a desert despite not being relevant or fitting to the song”. It really became clear that she doesn’t care about music videos or visuals anymore, when at the start of her career her music videos made her the massive success she was

Honestly yes. The way those crystal mountains disappear between shots and how the video looks squeezed in… selena gomez had amazing videos shot on an iphone especially Look At Her Now

eh not really, this entire narrative is absolutely false, the entire star is born hype was never going to last, it was there for the movie and that version of Gaga, people enjoyed Shallow and the rest of the songs but Stupid Love is a perfectly serviceable pop song, it was catchy and enough for GP to enjoy it for what it was, the video is meh but Gaga then had Rain On Me which was #1 and yet people lost interest, even if you pull the no promo card, the fact that the only way for Chromatica to succeed was for Gaga to do promo and playlist the songs speaks enough about her actual pull as a popstar at that point in her career

 

 

If you take a look at Ariana she was serving horrible music videos during My Everything Era yet every song was hit after hit, people were just there for her

 

Anyway not the worst of all time but yeah probably her worst video

Since BTW her music videos have been bad, the only decent one I can think of was the mini-movie of Guy/Artpop.
