I’m glad someone else finally mentioned it. I feel like this song has such crossover appeal but as you said, they will do BARE minimum for it.

I’m glad it’s going to at least get that small chance at being a summer hit, it’s perfect for the season.

I expect it to go top 10 on country radio given how catchy and radio friendly it is, but I expect bad sales and streams again since her team is incompetent. I could honestly see this doing well on pop if sent there too but.. they won’t try lol

I hope this becomes the big hit that crosses over to pop for Carrie. The D&R era is just sooo quiet (was it her first album to not even get a single metacritic rating at all?) and did nothing much even within the country circle. She’s too big of a megastar to have such a flop project :chick3: Re-release D&R deluxe with OOTT on it, and add in some new songs to give the album a second whirlwind!

Added by KBEQ-FM and KPLM-FM this week. She’s coming :clap3:

Her team is useless and needs replaced.

100% they messed everything up. Can she just fire everyone and start afresh. They dont have her interest at heart, they dont want what she wants.

Burn should have been her lead off of D&R. I don’t know what they were thinking going with a mid album track Ghost Story and whatever that atrocious second single was.

The lack of lies. She’s had questionable singles since Storyteller tbh.

This song is a bop. Smash when?

Over 200k streams on Spotify yesterday :clap3: i do wish they’d add this to a few larger playlists (non-country especially) but this is already streaming way better than HMH (which I still know was the worst single choice of her career)

I just listened go the song for the first time and it's quite good. Hopefully it becomes a hit on her own, because her incompetent team won't do it.

They handle her singles as if it's still 2002 and radio is the most important metric. And even then they even suck at pushing her music at radio.

On top of that they pick the most horrible singles, outside of Southbound and Drinking Alone. They let songs like Backsliding, End Up With You, Burn, Pink Champagne and Faster rot yet chose Love Wins and Hate My Heart as singles.

I wonder what the video will be like for this.

I would settle for something simple with a lot of beauty shots out in a meadow somewhere, some driving shots as well. I think the more simple and less glam for this single, the better.

Don’t get me started on the huge misses not releasing the bold songs…

Ghost Story was an absolutely atrocious lead single as well.

To be honest, I don't know. It was just serviced to Radio.

For reference, See You Again debuted at #60 and ended up at #2. So anything can happen.

This is her best radio release in forever I hope it can do well. Her single choices have been god awful for two full eras.
