It did OK but overperforming? And on that budget? No. Keep in mind it opened against 0 new competition

Were these "analysts" also expecting more when the $60 million-budgeted Ticket to Paradise starring Julia Roberts and George Clooney opened to $16million?

Anyway, this opened to $25 million worldwide :clap3:

Like most rom-coms (is it one though??), the whole movie depends on the chemistry between the two leads, and I found their was great here. Really really enjoyed it, not as hilarious as I hoped it would be but way more heart than expected. The piano scene was suprisingly moving and I really like how they ended the movie too.

A solid 7.

Miss Jennifer Lawrence, you will always be famous.

Such a fun movie, there`s a lot of laugh of loud moments especially in the 1st half.

The jokes lands well.

The 2nd part are a bit weird but the ending is perfect. So sweet.

Bring R-Rated comedy, rom-com back to theater. We are tired of superhero movies

Yeah, I think when your budget is 45M + marketing and your movie need 130M to break even the prospective of 36-37M global after 2 weekends looks terrible.

But J Law stans decides is a smash when it's just saying she doesn't have the star power to make a movie build just on her with such a cachet and budget.

What a silly comment. It's not just "a movie" but an R-Rated comedy so its box office performance will be judged in line with that. As has been mentioned already, its performance is already better than other movies in that lane. That is not the opinion of "J Law stans" but a numerical fact.

There were some issues with realism (the finger-trap gag :skull:) but it was pretty funny and solid overall :clap3:
