Democrat and Republican Americans both love occupation and war. Perhaps if the occupying forces had been actually protecting civilians against the Assad regime there might have been a point to their presence, but clearly they didn't do that.

Imagine posting a Resolution created by MATT GAETZ of all people just to "own the libs." The embarrassing tactics by the obsessed Democratic haters on here are getting more and more desperate. :deadbanana2:

Doesn’t change the fact that we’ve been illegally invading and occupying a sovereign country that does not want us there for three administrations.

If the cowards in Congress want us to be there so badly, they should be forced to put their names on a declaration of war against Syria and make it official instead of hiding behind decades-old emergency powers legislation signed into law as a knee jerk reaction to 9/11, an event that Syria had nothing to do with.

Dems make themselves look bad when they show themselves to be hungry for the blood of Middle Eastern people but don’t want to actually take unpopular votes on sending American troops to unwanted war. It’s embarrassing how you rush to defend the corporatist warmonger Democrats.

The lobbying pipeline from Putin to Matt Gaetz to Far-Left-ATRL :jonny5:

wbk liberals only (pretend to) care about "stopping war" when it happens in white countries

but they couldn't care less about the "uncivilized" people (the word they use to describe non-white people)

It’s funny how a certain group of ATRLers will strongly support Putin’s invasion, then condemn the US supporting the coalition against ISIS.

They clearly have no principals and just blindly hate the US.

I have never supported Putin's invasion.

The US created ISIS by destabilizing the region for decades.

The US is bad, and a net negative for the world, actually :heart2:

ATRL is not even remotely on neither Putin's nor Gaetz's radars. Even the most sycophantic Blue MAGA liberal degenerate would know that.

How many more Syrians would you like for the US to kill in the name of illegal war?

It’s interesting how you tagged me but stated something completely unrelated.

Quote =/= Tag; sis, learn how to use the forum.

OT: Your post explicitly frames America's illegal occupation of Syria as "aiding against ISIS", a framing that is objectively false. Syria's is the only government that can decide how to combat terrorism in its borders and Syria does not want America illegally occupying it, yet you defend such.

That you still have irrational delusions that anyone support Russia makes your pro-American invasion stance worse because you'd call it genocide for anyone to have the (equally gross) opinion wrt Russia in Ukraine.

So, since we're just using your logic, I'm asking how many Syrian deserve to be bombed by the US? :celestial5:

Well look at you be pedantic.  Where do you think behaving like this will get you in life? Do you really think bad faith arguments and pushing people away from leftism is doing anything good for the world?

Do you think you're benefitting leftism by defending and whitewashing America's illegal occupation of Syria - something that even the electoral American left *points to title of thread you're posting in* is trying to end?

Do you think instead of being paranoid that everyone to your left is secretly a Russian imperialist because they dislike America, maybe you have to face your personal biases to defend American imperialism?

I don’t know what to tell you. ISIS not good and Putin should get out of Ukraine.  Also, I’m always skeptical of anything proposed by Matt Gaetz.

You should consider being skeptical too sometimes. Highly recommend it.

So why is America illegally occupying Syria and blocking the Syrian government from dealing with ISIS?

Matt Gaetz re-introduced legislation by Jamaal Bowman, a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus.

Blind skepticism is conspiracy.

So you support the al-Assad regime too?  I can't say I'm surprised.

"Governments we don't like entitle Russia America to break international law"

"The Zelenskyy Assad regime is a nazi fascist regime so Russia America HAS to occupy it to stop the nazis ISIS!"
