Sazare Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 (edited) I think it’s safe to say that Morgan is the biggest country-pop crossover act since Shania. Edited March 8, 2023 by Sazare

byzantium Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 Congratulations on surpassing a re-recordings. Also, are we still considering RED a country album?

Red sold 16 million album units global and Red TV sold another 5 million, let’s see when will Morgan’s first and new album reach these numbers
vuelve88 Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 The streams are from Southern Americans. They don’t count.

He's had almost no crossover success outside of the country audience. His one moderate crossover peaked at #16 on non-country formats. Fearless, by comparison, produced the #1 and #2 overall airplay hits of the year it was released. He hasn't even had a one-off crossover hit, like Need You Now. Safer to place him in the Garth Brooks category for now.
