suburbannature Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 I am over Keurig. They taste like bland **** and the machines only last a year or so before you have to literally "burp" them to make them work. I recently stayed in a gorgeous suite for a vacation and the room had a couple of Nespresso machines. I hadn't tried them before - I'm picky with coffee and just stick to what I know - but the taste was SO much better. I was only put off by the limited size options ranging from espresso shot to a small coffee. Any recommendations for the best Nespresso machine for someone who has traditionally drunk mostly black coffee but values the taste? Some size options would be nice - price doesn't really matter.
Brando Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Don't use those machines? Grind your own freshly. Cheaper and better
Maestro Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 I am not an experienced drinker but I have the Nespresso Vertuo Pop and it works well and I love the taste of the coffees. But yeah they are a bit small, maybe the slightly bigger machines give a bigger drink?

CREATIVEREBELLION Posted March 7, 2023 Posted March 7, 2023 Vertuo is the moment sucks that the pods are too pricy tho tbh
Topaz Posted March 7, 2023 Posted March 7, 2023 I after working as a barista for a little bit learned to love using a decent priced expresso machine and just making any kind of coffee I want with just a few shots.

theweekend Posted March 7, 2023 Posted March 7, 2023 I love my Oster Prima Latte that also accepts Nespresso capsules (and L'or ones which are better) and I can make myself a espresso or lattes buying local coffee beans, so I don't think the Nespresso machine is the best thing out there if you can have more options. from your pov I would go this way because you won't get tasteless coffee anymore (and I feel so happy since I've bought it)
gatito Posted March 7, 2023 Posted March 7, 2023 get one of these instead and you life will change for the better

Devon Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 Vertuo for sure, especially if you’re coming from Keurig and drink full cups of coffee Vertuo Plus is the most reliable machine. I’ve heard bad reviews about Vertuo Next - although it takes up less space, it tends to leak and breaks easier
