Of course not. Nicki has an established and successful career. She doesnt really have anything to prove in terms of commercial success so she can afford flops. 

 

Its the double standards that yall have on expecting her to smash with every release when these newer girls are struggling where she wasnt. Her 2nd era was a success. Minus Doja & Cardi whenever she releases.

What does this even mean? She would have debuted top 15 without Morgan's massive album. She's 15 years into her career. She's literally in uncharted territory. It samples one of the most famous ‘Dancehall Riddims’ of all time and specifically samples a song (with the same sample) that was one of the biggest WW hits of 2003 + she’s coming off a hit single as well as a several month “social/media” hiatus.

Its not a pop song at all is what im saying. And its not promoted like a mainstream single. Just because dancehall was popular in 2003 doesnt mean its going to catch on in a similar manner now. The numbers are pretty good. Y'all can say whatever you want.
