Richmond Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 I mean, duh. Do y’all think birds are that stupid?
JBJT2786 Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 Explain Sully and the landing on the Hudson River in 2009 then... didn't they conclude it was birds? Edit: had a blonde moment. For some reason I read as the plane engine for some reason. And in that situation it was that the plane stuck the birds.

BrokenMachine Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 I mean, I might sound a little insensitive, but we live in a world where it's ok to destroy forests, tons of trees which are home to multiple birds only to build suburbs, oil-related industries and stuff, but it only becomes a problem when two or three birds hit wind turbines? I'm sure I've seen more birds die by hitting windows and yet I don't see enough people complaining about having to remove windows from everywhere because they're 'dangerous to birds'. Those crystal blocks called skyscrapers are way more dangerous to birds than wind turbines, we should ban those instead
katykater Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 British birds aren't stupid. This cannot be extrapolated to the other nationalities. Further research is needed.
Bosque Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 That's nice to know although I don't think the kind of people who believed this myth are likely to change their mind based on scientific studies
