Attitude Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 The way the police treated her is disgusting. Lack of empathy and morals. I hope the family sues both the police and the hospital.
Jude Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 (edited) Beyond disgusting. Karma for those who caused her death. Edited February 27, 2023 by Jude
A.R.L Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 How can someone with an emergency not be taken to the hospital, whether they have insurance or not, even without legal id? .. Long live my European country, America is really something else

Long live my European country, America is really something else She was initially at the hospital, and was released when the doctors didn't find anything. She refused to leave, necessitating the police call. She was technically trespassing. If you go to a medical facility in the US, they by law have to treat you. Every emergency room waiting area I have been in has prominent signage stating what care everyone has the right to, no matter the ability to pay for it. If they don't, they can be cut off from government money, and no medical facility wants to get payment for their medicare patients stopped. The question here is why was she discharged from doctor care and then soon afterwards died. As far as the police, they had just picked her up from a hospital where the doctors said she was ok to leave. Until she went unresponsive, they had no idea if her protests were genuine or put on just to get back into the hospital.
fountain Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 Idk how anybody can comfortably live in a country that accepts this

A lot of the time they ignore people's worries and complaints.

Why did she need to die for to be taken seriously when she said she wasn't feeling well? It's beyond clear from the video that she was experiencing abject distress and pain.
Kamil24 Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 The hospital is incompetent, how could they have discharged her?
